Where the Winter King falls and the May Queen rises. It is the first of May, the sacred turning between the spring equinox and summer solstice. Beltane is a rite of transformation. A metamorphosis, where fire and earth breathe as one. Above the Winter King lingers. His voice echoing in a low haunting throat song; clinging to the final frost. The May Queen rises from the earth, rooted and crowned in flame. Claiming the season in her bloom.
Drums thunder. Bodies dance. Chants rise like smoke. The pyres blaze, fed by devotion, as the veil thins and the fae gather. This is not just a painting; it is a summoning of self. Step into the flame and let your inner fire speak.

My love for for mythology and story telling. This piece is tied to change, not only of the seasons of nature, but the nature of ourselves. Things are constantly transforming and becoming new.
